Prospective residents interested in your apartment must first complete a pre-qualifying questionnaire, providing essential information to assess their eligibility. This initial screening helps us identify qualified candidates and streamline the viewing process, saving both time and resources for all parties involved.
Upon scheduling a viewing, our dedicated team showcases the apartment to prospective renters, offering insights and guidance to help them envision themselves living in the space. Following the viewing, interested applicants are provided with rental applications to formally apply for tenancy.
As part of our thorough screening process, we review applicants' stated income and information to assess their preliminary qualifications. To ensure financial stability, we require tenants to have a minimum income of at least 3.0 times the monthly rent.
Once the initial qualifications are met, we conduct a comprehensive background check, which includes verifying credit scores, checking for past evictions, and reviewing criminal backgrounds. This step provides invaluable insight into applicants' financial responsibility and trustworthiness, allowing us to make informed decisions.
For applicants who meet our criteria, we request pay stubs to verify their stated income, further confirming their ability to meet their financial obligations. In cases where emergencies are deemed too serious to handle internally, we recommend that tenants dial 9-1-1 right away to seek assistance from the authorities.
